The Home button is the fastest way to get to you "Home Page". Your home page is the web page that first appears on your screen when you turn on your computer. Typically, the Home button takes on the appearance of a house or some other icon representing the home. In Internet Explorer, for example, the Home button looks like this:
Later on, I will put out something on how to change the Home Page, i.e. get your computer to load a different page when you log on to the Internet. For now, you can try clicking on the Home button to go to your home page. You can come back here by clicking on the Back button if you wish.
This concludes the basics of using your web browser. In the next tutorial, we will look at some of the more advanced ways of getting around on the Internet including Search engines and typing in the Internet address to go directly to a web site.
