REFRESH BUTTON

The Internet, although exceedingly advanced, is still not a perfect technology. As such, it is possible that sometimes a web page will not load on your screen correctly. This can result in having little icons appear in the place of pictures or in missing some of the text from the bottom of the page. The fact that this can happen is the reason that web browser designers put in a Refresh button. It allows you to reload a page onto your computer. This way if the page didn't show up right the first time, you are still able to make it appear correctly. It should be mentioned that some browsers also call this button the Reload button. In Internet Explorer, the Refresh button looks like this:

Please note that some web pages have just been badly built and that no amount of clicking on the Refresh button will ever get them to load properly. These cases are rare however and nearly all pages that don't appear correctly will do so after a click or two on the Refresh button.

The final page in this tutorial deals with the Home button. To get there click on the link in the bottom right of the page.
